Awareness in the Community
In October of 2025, Dissolve Dysautonomia worked with the state to illuminate four bridges turquoise throughout the state of Massachusetts for Dysautonomia Awareness Month. The Burns Bridge in Worcester and Shrewsbury, the Fore River Bridge in Weymouth and Quincy, the Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge in Boston, and the Longfellow Bridge in Cambridge and Boston were lit turquoise, which is the official awareness color for dysautonomia. These turquoise bridges helped to display vital Dys awareness and work towards the goal of making awareness month for dysautonomia in October mainstream. Rejoice for Turquoise!
